George H. W. Bush's personality assessment

“I'm not a very formal guy to begin with. Condi and the Secretary of State, Colin, can give you a better sense of what my style is like. I'm also not very analytical. You know I don't spend a lot of time thinking about myself, about why I do things. The meetings are informal, they're kind of relaxed. I think one of my styles is trying to relax people.”
- President George W. Bush, June 4, 2003, President Meets with Reporters on Air Force One

"Long ago I determined Bush was ESFJ."
- Me

"You're probably getting confused since he extraverts feeling. Sensing is his dominant, Ti is his auxiliary."
- Jason

I disagree. I think it’s apparent that he extroverts feeling because that is his ‘dominant’ function. It appears irrational because he is spoiled and has grown comfortable speaking his mind. The appropriate personality theory adage is, “Extroverts speak before thinking and Introverts think before speaking”. After finding a person's dominant function you can then look for evidence of a poorly developed inferior function. This is usually very difficult to do with world leaders because to achieve such a position of influence you ‘usually’ have to have developed all four functions. For example I contend Gore 'appears' to be NT dominant because as ESTJ (yes ISTJ is also possible) the functions he extroverts are both Te and Ne.

In the following description of an ESFJ I think you can see President Bush’s personality reflected in the messages he chooses to emphasize and repeat. You can also see what a wonderful spokesperson he can be for a manipulative organization populated by people well versed in Public Relations and PsyOps. (e.g. the CIA, Republican business and religious leaders) This could explain why he is so convincing when he is telling a lie. It’s very likely in many cases he does ‘not know’ he is lying.

Portrait of an ESFJ - The Caregiver
“ESFJs respect and believe in the laws and rules of authority, and believe that others should do so as well. They're traditional, and prefer to do things in the established way, rather than venturing into unchartered territory. Their need for security drives their ready acceptance and adherence to the policies of the established system. This tendency may cause them to sometimes blindly accept rules without questioning or understanding them.”

“ESFJs incorporate many of the traits that are associated with women in our society. However, male ESFJs will usually not appear feminine at all. On the contrary, ESFJs are typically quite conscious about gender roles and will be most comfortable playing a role that suits their gender in our society. Male ESFJs will be quite masculine (albeit sensitive when you get to know them), and female ESFJs will be very feminine.”

“…ESFJs who have not had the advantage of developing their own values by weighing them against a good external value system may develop very questionable values. In such cases, the ESFJ most often genuinely believes in the integrity of their skewed value system. They have no internal understanding of values to set them straight. In weighing their values against our society, they find plenty of support for whatever moral transgression they wish to justify. This type of ESFJ is a dangerous person indeed. Extraverted Feeling drives them to control and manipulate, and their lack of Intuition prevents them from seeing the big picture. They're usually quite popular and good with people, and good at manipulating them. Unlike their ENFJ cousin, they don't have Intuition to help them understand the real consequences of their actions. They are driven to manipulate others to achieve their own ends, yet they believe that they are following a solid moral code of conduct.”

O'Neill Book Paints Devastating Portrait of Bush
Tue, Jan 13, 2004
By Alan Elsner
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Former U.S. Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill's portrait of George W. Bush depicts a passive and superficial president surrounded by right-wing ideologues who lacks the intellectual rigor or even the curiosity to think through the effects of his policies.

O'Neill, who served from January 2001 until he was ousted in December 2002, made headlines over the weekend for his assertion that Bush began laying the groundwork for an invasion of Iraq almost immediately after taking office.

That was nine months before the administration began saying Iraqi weapons of mass destruction presented an immediate threat to the United States in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington.

In detailed recollections of cabinet infighting and his own one-on-one meetings with Bush, as recounted to Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Ron Suskind, O'Neill provides a rare insight into an unusually secretive administration and glimpses of a president with sometimes unusual priorities.
At their first meeting after Bush took office, the president gave O'Neill a nickname -- Pablo. Later he started calling the secretary "Big O." O'Neill viewed this as "a bully technique. 'I've given you a name. Now you wear it'."

At that first meeting and many others, Bush asked no questions. "He looked at O'Neill, not changing his expression, not letting on that he had any reactions -- either positive or negative," Suskind writes. O'Neill wondered if Bush did not know the questions to ask or did he know but not want to hear the answers?

In the first National Security Council meeting he presided over on Jan. 30, 2001, Bush quickly decided to put Arab-Israeli peacemaking on the back burner and concentrate on Iraq.

Bush described meeting then-Israeli opposition leader Ariel Sharon on a December 1998 visit to Israel, when Bush himself was governor of Texas.

"Bush described meeting (Israeli Prime Minister Ariel) Sharon...'We flew over the Palestinian camps. Looked real bad down there. I don't see much we can do over there at this point. I think it's time to pull out of that situation'," he said, according to O'Neill.

Secretary of State Colin Powell warned the consequences of that could be more bloodshed. "Bush shrugged. 'Maybe that's the best way to get things back in balance'."
O'Neill asserts that with Bush unwilling or unable to read detailed briefing papers, policy was decided on and controlled by Vice President Dick Cheney (news - web sites), supported by political advisers Karl Rove and Karen Hughes and National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice (news - web sites) -- a "Praetorian Guard" that surrounded the president and kept alternative viewpoints out.

In O'Neill's eyes, Bush's "lack of inquisitiveness or pertinent experience" meant he did not really care about long-established positions of the U.S. government and was willing to abandon them without scruple or regret.

"The president started from scratch and relied on advice of ideologues without any honest brokers in sight," O'Neill said.

Earning A's in People Skills at Andover
June 10, 2000
Yet there was one important area where young George did excel: people skills. It was in high school that he first seemed to cultivate them and exhibit them, using the tactics that show through in that photo -- wisecracking showmanship -- to carve out an identity for himself, an identity that is more subdued today but otherwise intact.

It was also then that George W., while forging countless loyal friendships, also began to turn some people off with what they saw as arrogance, emptiness and a tendency to smirk and be dismissive.
George W. Bush as the head cheerleader at Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass., in fall 1963, in a role that some classmates now see as a precursor of his political rise as presidential candidate.
No one thought of George W. Bush as a future politician, and he seemed oblivious to the civil rights struggle and other issues of the day. But he worked hard to remember everyone's name and managed to worm his way into the limelight. Early on, he showed one of the most fundamental political skills: the ability to make people feel good.

"You can definitely see the germination of leadership there, even though the activity was not anything you would call political," said Randall Roden, a childhood friend of George who also attended Andover. "He was learning those skills, or perfecting them, at Andover."

This question of privilege is one that rankles Mr. Bush, and when he was asked about it in a long interview about his past, he became prickly.

"I think I'm asked that all the time," Mr. Bush scolded. "It's interesting, they always use the word 'Smith,' too." He deepened and modulated his voice to mimic a television interviewer: " 'Would you be standing here as presidential candidate if your name were George Smith?' Well, you know, it's not George Smith. It is George Bush. And how did it influence? I don't have any idea."

I present the following quotes to support my contention that Bush is ESFJ (Fe Si Ne Ti). I think these quotes are more likely his words reflecting his thoughts than words written for him such as those in his prepared speeches like the State of The Union.

Bush is well known for poor word choice which argues for inferior Ti which would be the case with dominant Fe. Here are two pages worth.

 - Dubya Says........

Bush’s reasoning is dominated by subjective reasoning (feeling) even when describing systems.

The Physiology of Jung’s Four Functions & Their Organization
"The difference between the Feeling Function and Emotions can be understood more clearly. The Feeling Function is a cortical capacity to recognize the presence or absence of harmony – between colors, tones, or human beings. By contrast, emotions are a limbic capacity to experience delight, anger, fear, grief."

"I don't want nations feeling like that they can bully ourselves and our allies. I want to have a ballistic defense system so that we can make the world more peaceful, and at the same time I want to reduce our own nuclear capacities to the level commiserate with keeping the peace."
- George HW Bush, Des Moines, Iowa, Oct. 23, 2000

Described China primarily in terms of how ‘people’ are effected.

"Anyway, I went from the West Point of capitalism to China, which had just come off the Cultural Revolution, and there was no market. It was just like government had just decided to make every decision for everybody, and it was the most drab, uninspiring place to be. And I was amazed that a country of a billion people could have no choice, no consumerism, no opportunity for someone to express their own opinion."
- George Bush: Refusing to accept the premise

Cites ‘love’ as major influence. Influence of the ‘heart’.

Asked about influences on his life, Bush cited his parents' unconditional love that gave him the confidence to risk failure.
"I guess the best way to explain it is that he planted a seed in my heart.”
"I hope I'm a better person for it. I hope I'm a more loving person.”

- George Bush: Refusing to accept the premise

Instead of being filled with anger, Bush fights back tears and declares he is a “loving guy” first and someone with a job to do second. Dominant ST would have the reverse order.President Bush hugs 15-year-old Ashley Faulkner May 4, 2004.

“The President turned away for a moment and bowed his head a little. When he looked back to reporters, his eyes were filled with tears. "Well, I don't think of myself right now," President Bush said, his eyes still glazed over with moisture. "I think about the families, the children."
“At this point the President was blinking to fight back the tears. "I'm a loving guy. And I am also someone, however, who's got a job to do and I intend to do it."”

- White House Diary: Reporting in the White House Will Never be the Same

It’s noted in this article that, “President Bush was there to put an arm around the rescuers and family members of victims.”

“In New York, when he said through a megaphone, "I hear you and the world hears you," these off-the-cuff words had more effect than anything his speechwriters could have concocted.”

The Price of Loyalty: George W. Bush, the White House, and the Education of Paul O'Neill
by Ron Suskind
The George W. Bush White House, as described by former Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill, is a world out of kilter. Policy decisions are determined not by careful weighing of an issue's complexities; rather, they're dictated by a cabal of ideologues and political advisors operating outside the view of top cabinet officials. The President is not a fully engaged administrator but an enigma who is, at best, guarded and poker-faced but at worst, uncurious, unintelligent, and a puppet of larger forces.

Against All Enemies: Inside America's War on Terror
by Richard A. Clarke
Clarke, a veteran Washington insider who had advised presidents Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Clinton, and George W. Bush, dissects each man's approach to terrorism but levels the harshest criticism at the latter Bush and his advisors who, Clarke asserts, failed to take terrorism and Al-Qaeda seriously. Clarke details how, in light of mounting intelligence of the danger Al-Qaeda presented, his urgent requests to move terrorism up the list of priorities in the early days of the administration were met with apathy and procrastination and how, after the attacks took place, Bush and key figures such as Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, and Dick Cheney turned their attention almost immediately to Iraq, a nation not involved in the attacks.
Battle Ready
by Tom Clancy, Tony Zinni, Tony Koltz
"In the lead-up to the Iraq War and its later conduct, I saw at a minimum, true dereliction, negligence, and irresponsibility, at worse, lying, incompetence and corruption." So says former U.S. Central Command commander in chief Zinni, who retired in September 2000 and has been outspoken ever since regarding the uses and abuses of the U.S. military.
Chain of Command : The Road from 9/11 to Abu Ghraib
by Seymour M. Hersh
In Chain of Command, Hersh takes an unflinching look behind the public story of President Bush's "war on terror" and into the lies and obsessions that led America into Iraq. He reveals the connections between early missteps in the hunt for Al Qaeda and disasters on the ground in Iraq. The book includes a new account of Hersh's pursuit of the Abu Ghraib story and of where, he believes, responsibility for the scandal ultimately lies.
Worse Than Watergate: The Secret Presidency of George W. Bush
by John W. Dean
In Dean's estimation, the secrecy with which Bush and Dick Cheney govern is not merely a preferred system of management but an obsessive strategy meant to conceal a deeply troubling agenda of corporate favoritism and a dramatic growth in unchecked power for the executive branch that put at risk the lives of American citizens, civil liberties, and the Constitution.

Bush planned Iraq 'regime change' before becoming President
15 September 2002
The blueprint, uncovered by the Sunday Herald, for the creation of a 'global Pax Americana' was drawn up for Dick Cheney (now vice- president), Donald Rumsfeld (defence secretary), Paul Wolfowitz (Rumsfeld's deputy), George W Bush's younger brother Jeb and Lewis Libby (Cheney's chief of staff). The document, entitled Rebuilding America's Defences: Strategies, Forces And Resources For A New Century, was written in September 2000 by the neo-conservative think-tank Project for the New American Century (PNAC).

The plan shows Bush's cabinet intended to take military control of the Gulf region whether or not Saddam Hussein was in power. It says: 'The United States has for decades sought to play a more permanent role in Gulf regional security. While the unresolved conflict with Iraq provides the immediate justification, the need for a substantial American force presence in the Gulf transcends the issue of the regime of Saddam Hussein.'
“Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor."
International Law Seen at Risk in U.S. Fight with Security Council

The Project for the New American Century is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to a few fundamental propositions: that American leadership is good both for America and for the world; that such leadership requires military strength, diplomatic energy and commitment to moral principle; and that too few political leaders today are making the case for global leadership.

"The Republicans---- using Christian conservatives--- simply have them fooled………….. and the mindless masses of rural yokels continue to support a party that couldn’t possibly care less about them……. that is, unless they happen to fall within the wealthiest 1-2% of the population."

“It has indeed been a trying hour for the Republic; but I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. As a result of the war, corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed. I feel at this moment more anxiety for the safety of my country than ever before, even in the midst of war. God grant that my suspicions may prove groundless."
- U.S. President Abraham Lincoln, Nov. 21, 1864, (letter to Col. William F. Elkins)

"Our government has kept us in a perpetual state of fear -- kept us in a continuous stampede of patriotic fervor -- with the cry of grave national emergency. Always there has been some terrible evil at home or some monstrous foreign power that was going to gobble us up if we did not blindly rally behind it by furnishing the exorbitant funds demanded."

January 8, 2002
In running what its own marketing literature spookily calls "a vast, interlocking, global network of businesses and investment professionals" that operates within the so-called iron triangle of industry, government, and the military, the Carlyle Group leaves itself open to any number of conflicts of interest and stunning ironies.

“We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together. “
- President Dwight D. Eisenhower's Farewell Address (1961)
”The "Unsettling Specter of Peace" raises "knotty `peace' questions," the Wall Street Journal observes. Crucially, it threatens the regular resort to the military Keynesian programs that have served as the major device of state economic management through the postwar years. … It is, however, a rather lame hope; how will the public be bludgeoned into paying the costs, without a plausible Red Menace on the horizon?”

no greater misfortune than having an enemy.

Technological singularity
In futurism, a technological singularity is a predicted point in the development of a civilization at which technological progress accelerates beyond the ability of present-day humans to fully comprehend or predict. This prognosis is based on statistical data showing the acceleration of various trends in the human civilisation... Since the term technological singularity refers both the the advance of technology and their impact on the human society, it can be also understood as a sociological singularity.

He believed that the Drake Equation suggested that a large number of extraterrestrial civilizations would form, but that the lack of evidence of such civilizations suggests that technological civilizations tend to destroy themselves rather quickly. This stimulated his interest in identifying ways that humanity could destroy itself, with the hope of avoiding such destruction and eventually becoming a space-faring species.

"Nature shows that with the growth of intelligence comes increased capacity for pain, and it is only with the highest degree of intelligence that suffering reaches its supreme point."
- Arthur Schopenhauer,
IQ scores are rising so dramatically, say researchers who study intelligence, that a high proportion of people considered average at the turn of the 20th century would be regarded as significantly below average by today's tests.

"It's a genuine mystery," said John Loehlin, a University of Texas-Austin professor of psychology. "All of the explanations given are probably true, but it's still hard to see how they would account for such a large jump."
- Todd Ackerman, 3/15/1998, Experts at loss to explain large jump in average IQ
James Flynn, a political scientist working in New Zealand, observed in the 1980's that the scores of different groups of people on standard intelligence tests had consistently augmented over the past decades.

Since then, the so-called "Flynn effect" has been confirmed by numerous studies. The same pattern, an average increase of over three IQ points per decade, was found for virtually every type of intelligence test, delivered to virtually every type of group.

The increase was highest, 20 points per generation (30 years), in Belgium, Holland and Israel, and lowest, 10 points per generation, in Denmark and Sweden. Although the data are limited, it moreover seems that the increase is accelerating.

One might expect that the Flynn effect would be more clear for tests that emphasize culture or education. The opposite is true, however: the increase is most striking for tests measuring the ability to recognize abstract, non-verbal patterns. Tests emphasizing traditional school knowledge show much less progress. This means that something more profound than mere accumulation of data is happening inside people's heads. None of the scientists who have studied the effect can offer a simple explanation.

For one type of test, Raven's Progressive Matrices, Flynn found data that spanned a complete century. He concluded that someone who scored among the best 10% a hundred years ago, would nowadays be categorized among the 5% weakest. That means that someone who would be considered bright a century ago, should now be considered a moron!

Black holes: mothers of the Universe?

"Black holes aren't exactly the celestial darlings of our universe. They're commonly thought of as giant space vacuums slowly and methodically sucking the universe dry. But these monsters of destruction may not be so monstrous after all. "As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain, and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality....The most beautiful emotion we can experience is the mystical [mysterious]. It is the power of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead. To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty, which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their most primitive forms - this knowledge, this feeling, is at the center of true religiousness. In this sense, and in this sense only, I belong to the rank of devoutly religious men..."

"A human being is part of a whole, called by us the "Universe," a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."

The Gospel According to Mary - Chapter 4
...Will matter then be destroyed or not?
22) The Savior said, All nature, all formations, all creatures exist in and with one another, and they will be resolved again into their own roots.
23) For the nature of matter is resolved into the roots of its own nature alone.
24) He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

30) Matter gave birth to a passion that has no equal, which proceeded from something contrary to nature. Then there arises a disturbance in its whole body.
31) That is why I said to you, Be of good courage, and if you are discouraged be encouraged in the presence of the different forms of nature.
32) He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

"It seems that Einstein did not make a blunder after all -- dark energy appears to exist and to dominate over more conventional types of matter," Efstathiou said. “The surface of the Earth is the shore of the cosmic ocean. On this shore we’ve learned most of what we know. Recently, we’ve waded a little way out, maybe ankle-deep, and the water seems inviting. Some part of our being knows this is where we came from. We long to return. And we can’t, because the cosmos is also within us. We’re "made" of star stuff. We are a way that the cosmos can know itself. The journey for each of us begins here.”

2) Add "code" after his name.
3) Use it for a title for a fictional book with a few factual coincidences.

1) Take an influential teacher
2) Add “god”, “son of god”, “lord”, “savior” before or after his name.
3) Ignore his teachings, create rules, preach dogma and practice tribal rituals.
4) Let the cash flow and serve wine.

7) Now I see you contending against the woman like the adversaries.
8) But if the Savior made her worthy, who are you indeed to reject her? Surely the Savior knows her very well.
9) That is why He loved her more than us. Rather let us be ashamed and put on the perfect Man, and separate as He commanded us and preach the gospel, not laying down any other rule or other law beyond what the Savior said.
1 Timothy 2 : (KJV)
11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
Matthew 15 :(KJV)
7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Matthew 6:(KJV)
1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Beautiful Mother Earth
Loved, warmed, and made fertile by Father Sun, our Beautiful Mother Earth gives birth to, nurtures, and sustains us all:: Green Growing People, Standing People (Trees), Water Dwellers, Winged Ones, Creepy Crawlies, Four-leggeds and Two-leggeds. Materials for our homes, clothes, and tools of all kinds, as well as the food we eat -- all are provided by our Mother, the Earth. In this era we two-leggeds have not properly appreciated this, nor taken care of her. We need to start doing so NOW, or she may not be able to continue to give so generously and abundantly.
GAIA: A New Look at Life on Earth
The Gaia hypothesis, first put forth in the mid-1960s, and published in book form in 1975, explores the idea that the life of earth functions as a single organism which actually defines and maintains conditions necessary for its survival. Disclaiming the conventional belief that living matter reacts passively in the face of threats to its existence, Lovelock argues that the earth's living matter - air, ocean, and land surfaces - forms a complex system which has the capacity to keep our planet a fit place for life.
And they asked him in amazement: "Who is our Mother and which her angels? And where is her kingdom?"

"Your Mother is in you, and you in her. She bore you she gives you life. it was she who gave to you your body, and to her shall you one day give it back again. Happy are you when you come to know her and her kingdom; …

"The blood which runs in us is born of the blood of our Earthly Mother. Her blood falls from the clouds; leaps from the womb of the earth; babbles in the brooks of the mountains; flows wide in the rivers of the plains; sleeps in the lakes; rages mightily in tempestuous seas.

"The air which we breathe is born of the breath of our Earthly Mother. Her breath is azure in the heights of t heavens; soughs in the tops of the mountains; whispers the leaves of the forest; billows over the cornfields; slumbers in the deep valleys, burns hot in the desert.

"The hardness of our bones is born of the bones of our Earthly Mother, of the rocks and of the stones. They stand naked to the heavens on the tops of mountains; are as giants that lie sleeping on the sides of the mountains, as idols set in the desert, and are hidden in the deepness of the earth.

"The tenderness of our flesh is born of the flesh of our Earthly Mother; whose flesh waxes yellow and red in the fruits of the trees, and nurtures us in the furrows of the fields.

"Our bowels are born of the bowels of our Earthly Mother, and are hid from our eyes, like the invisible depths of the earth.

"The light of our eyes, the hearing of our ears, both are born of the colors and the sounds of our Earthly Mother; which enclose us about, as the waves of the sea a fish, as the eddying air a bird.

And all those round about him listened to his words with amazement, for his word was with power, and he taught quite otherwise than the priests and scribes.

"Hello little sheep. I'm happy that you believe in your god. Believing there is a reward at the end of your miserable little life controls you and keeps you sorrowfully happy. Your morals, ethics and behavior are based on your religious beliefs. If you ever wake up and realize your god is a myth created to control you, you would act on your true urges and only get yourself into trouble. You would become a problem for society..."

"When any government, or any church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, 'This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know,' the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives. Mighty little force is needed to control a man whose mind has been hoodwinked; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, a man whose mind is free. No, not the rack, not fission bombs, not anything--you can't conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him."
- Robert A. Heinlein
3. Jesus said, "If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the kingdom is within you and it is outside you.
When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will understand that you are children of the living Father. But if you do not know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty."
“The Nag Hammadi Library, a collection of thirteen ancient codices containing over fifty texts, was discovered in upper Egypt in 1945. This immensely important discovery includes a large number of primary Gnostic scriptures -- texts once thought to have been entirely destroyed during the early Christian struggle to define "orthodoxy"
The Council of Nicea
…Constantine accomplished more, however, for the Nicene council also ratified his own power and Christianity would begin the long struggle, lasting to this day, between the anti-political ideas of Jesus of Nazareth and the Christianity that is compromised to allow for human authority and power.
Elaine Pagels on "Jesus and his Message in the Gnostic Gospels"
Indeed, the suppression of the Gnostic gospels fits the pattern of rational patriarchy that has marked the Church throughout the centuries. …The forced exclusion of these Gnostic elements have kept hidden from Christians many aspects of their faith--until now

The Gnostics believed that by investigating the source of sorrow, joy, love and hate, one could cultivate insight and discover God as the fountainhead of all of these states of being. The significance of Jesus is interpreted to be that of a model, one whose instruction to come and know oneself as he did will transform human beings into sons (and daughters) of God like him. Consistent with the scholarly consensus that Jesus' purpose was not to found a new religion centering its devotion upon him, the Gospel of Philip, a companion text to the gospel of Thomas, urges followers not to become Christians, but rather new Christs. …In addition, it seems clear that the Gnostics had some contact with Buddhism in the formation of their ideas.
Many Buddhas
“The word Buddha is a generic term, meaning the Enlightened One. It refers to a person who has realized the Dhamma and attained enlightenment. This enlightenment, as we have seen, is open to all, and so is Buddhahood. …this Buddha-nature is the inherent potential for enlightenment, which can be cultivated and actualize

"How much do we humans enjoy our current status as the most intelligent beings on earth? Enough to try to stop our own inventions from surpassing us in smarts? If so, we'd better pull the plug right now, because if Ray Kurzweil is right we've only got until about 2020 before computers outpace the human brain in computational power. Kurzweil, artificial intelligence expert and author of The Age of Intelligent Machines, shows that technological evolution moves at an exponential pace. ...This means that we'd better figure out how to deal with conscious machines as soon as possible--they'll soon not only be able to beat us at chess, but also likely demand civil rights, and might at last realize the very human dream of immortality."

12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
18   I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
19   Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
“The Holy Ghost composition has the appearance of visual depth. At a distance, it is easy to see the composition, framed by a shallow arch, as a group of dark figures standing, or hovering, around (behind, in front, and to the sides) a tall light figure (Holy Ghost) which is, literally and figuratively, "head and shoulders" above them. In addition, the head of the Holy Ghost is represented in a three-quarter view—the only three-dimensional representation of an anthropomorphic head in Utah and, probably, the United States.”

“We are accustomed to seeing convincing representations of visual space in the paintings of today but this interest (on the part of the artist) in recreating a three-dimensional space on a flat surface really only extends, scholars think, to the classical Greeks (ca. 300 b.c.e.) and, certainly, the European Renaissance (ca. c.e. 1400). The Holy Ghost Group was probably painted before 2,000 b.c.e., perhaps well before.”

“What could account for this early, clearly intentional, representation of the space of the "real world"—in a world of prehistoric rock art, which was, for tens of thousands of years, dominated by a flat-looking, frontal or profile, two-dimensional image and format or visual space?”

E-mail to media concerning Anthrax killers

Hi Glen,

Have you heard of Zecharia Sitchin? He's drawn some interesting conclusions from his extensive translation of Sumerian writings. His view is that people from space genetically engineered humans in their image, and were an integral part of history/civilization in Sumerian times. He has hypothesis about most other early civilizations also, but the Sumerian is the most researched. Check out these links: and <<the official site.

Hi Glen,
I found a site with some ideas similar to yours. I think you might particularly like the scientific angle, although I make no claims about it's accuracy. ;^)
Here's an excerpt:
"In short, we now know that the Sun, the space between the planets and the planets themselves are all showing increased luminosity, increased magnetism and increased energy. This undeniably demonstrates that the entire Solar System is charging up, apparently reaching a critical threshold. As mentioned in our SOM article, we have already seen the following, among many other things: "

Hello Margie,

While it's true I am somewhat amused by the paradox of finding references to the most advanced science in the oldest of sources.   I really appreciate this kind of supporting material for my theory as I tend not to seek it out. You seem to have a tendency to locate and send me information that I wouldn't look for but is very useful and relevant.

And now for your amusement consider that I sent the following message to six different corporate news providers on November 1 (MSNBC, CBS, CNN, 20/20 etc.). I was motivated to try to send it to the e-mail addresses that they made available for the purpose of discrediting "rumors" on the Internet. The implication being that if you look for answers on the Internet you are gullible and you should instead consume their "quality" information. (I lied a little about "a friend forwarded". But it's not much of a lie because I put my real name and address anywhere it was asked for and if they read my site they will know it is me. According to my site logs at least two of them did.)

Well, A friend forwarded the following web page to me and I thought you folks might be interested in looking into it.

It compares the events at the World Trade Center to the book of Revelation in the bible. As crazy as that sounds there is quite a bit of supporting evidence of the US governments duplicity involving international terrorism. The site includes convincing citations from other web sites.

Could it be true that the CIA is really behind the formation and support of terrorist groups in Afghanistan? I saw a Frontline program on PBS that showed the CIA bombing a mosque.

I also had another thought. If evidence of CIA involvement in international terrorism is so well known and after 9/11 everyone was looking for the root cause of the attack don't you think that Congress was starting to take another look at CIA activities?

Here's the most disturbing idea I had. If the CIA actively commits and supports acts of terrorism and Congress began investigating them, then what do you think they would do to protect themselves? It’s curious "law enforcement" doesn't have any leads on the Anthrax outbreaks isn't it? Particularly the weapons grade stuff found in Senator Dashle's office? One of the results of these outbreaks has been to give the CIA and FBI more power. Let's see, the CIA has the motive, the means and the opportunity. hmmm.

If this is true who can stop them?

That was on a Thursday. Guess what the number one question was in the standing room only Q&A with FBI Director Mueller the next day? "Don't you have any leads on the Anthrax attacks specifically the weapons grade material found in Senator Dashle's office?" Both the reporters and Mueller appeared seriously concerned. Mueller's basic response was that they could not report any progress but, "We are looking into ALL leads." He did indeed lean forward and emphasize "all". The reporters kept asking variations of the same question that day and for a couple of weeks afterwards. Notice I didn't mention attacks against the media? I let the reader fill that part in. Also notice how most of what I wrote is phrased as questions. Extroverted Intuition can be very influential when used effectively.

Today I heard mention only once on CNN but I can't find confirmation of it on the web that the current word on some of the Anthrax samples is that they appear to be the same as that produced in the United States as part of a biological weapons program that was "ended" five years ago. Apparently the "quality" of this material is so lethal that even enclosed in envelopes some material apparently escaped and is the explanation for the various deaths such as the woman who worked in a mail room and the 94 year old woman. Oh, I also understand that two other federal intelligence agencies now report to the CIA. I suppose we won't be hearing about CIA involvement from them will we?  (Here are subsequent articles which quietly implicate the CIA in the Anthrax attacks.  For a web page of only politics please go here or the section of this site, here.)

“The FBI's investigation into the anthrax attacks is increasingly focusing on whether U.S. government bioweapons research programs, including one conducted by the CIA, may have been the source of deadly anthrax powder sent through the mail, according to sources with knowledge of the probe. The results of the genetic tests strengthen that possibility.”

“The CIA declined to say where its Ames strain material came from.”

Law enforcement sources, however, said the FBI remains extremely interested in the CIA's work with anthrax, with one official calling it the best lead they have at this point. The sources said FBI investigators do not yet know much about the CIA program.

A law enforcement source said the FBI did not initially include the CIA on its list of labs working with anthrax because the agency was not among 91 labs registered with the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to transfer anthrax specimens. But as investigators interviewed workers at those known labs, they learned of the CIA's work, and in the past few weeks posed questions about it to the agency.

JOHN STOCKWELL, 10 October 1987
"I did 13 years in the CIA altogether. ..We're talking about 10 to 20 thousand covert actions [the CIA has performed since 1961]. What I found was that lots and lots of people have been killed in these things.... Some of them are very, very bloody.”

All quiet on the anthrax front?
By Andy Oppenheimer, 05 June 2002
Even before 9.11, there was growing concern over the possible use of anthrax as a biological weapon. On 2 October 2001, this fear became reality as anthrax outbreaks, the result of a biological agent delivered through the mail, began to occur in the USA.

Weapons-grade anthrax, usually fatal in its pulmonary (inhalation) form, was removed, refined and eventually posted. It killed five people (not the mail recipients), sickened 17 others, paralysed mail delivery, forced many senators to evacuate their offices for more than two months, terrified the nation and caused some 35,000 more to take prophylactic antibiotics. There have been 15,000 anthrax hoaxes and false threats. The incidents have forced 540 postal facilities to close temporarily and have resulted in 71 arrests.

The anthrax discovered in the letters mailed to two US senators was so refined that it contained 1 trillion spores per gram. It was milled to produce the size most effective in spreading the bacteria: between one and three microns. This size is characteristic of weaponized anthrax made by US defense laboratories.

Anthrax attacks: FBI cover-up and New York Times whitewash
By Patrick Martin, 15 May 2002
A new genetic analysis of the anthrax used in last fall’s terrorist attacks has pinpointed the source as the US government’s own germ warfare program. This finding explodes the pretense, long maintained by the Bush administration and parroted by the media, that little is known in the investigation into the attacks, which killed five people and disrupted the lives of millions.

This cover-up has a clear political motivation: either the perpetrator is an individual with powerful friends in high places in the Bush administration, whose influence is stalling the probe, or the perpetrator is actually a US government agency—…

While the genetic evidence lays out a virtual blueprint for the investigation into the anthrax attacks, there are more accounts of foot-dragging by the US government. ABC News reported April 4 that US military and intelligence agencies have refused to provide the FBI with a full listing of the secret facilities and employees working on anthrax projects.
